Some tips
- As with all things, if you're running and you want to increase your cadence, do it gently. Do not go from 160BPM to 180BPM in one go, but gradually increase the cadence.
- Do not focus on landing at the ticks of the metronome, but instead on lifting your foot on the ticks. This makes a major difference.
Updates/version history
- Version 0.1.0: Major update to accomodate swimmer's needs. (Thanks for your suggestions!) Biggest change is the implementation of 1 BPM instead of 5 BPM increments. This meant changing the way I generated the sounds, resulting in tones instead of clicks generated. From this version on, I am using Python to produce sinewaves in NumPy) instead of generating click tracks manually in Audacity.
